Recently I read a National Center for Health Statistics report on the CDC website that 66% of the U.S. population is overweight and of those 32% are obese.In 1980, fourty seven percent of the people were overweight and 15% of them was obese. This is a stunning increase in a relatively short period of time.Now is the best time to start taking control of your own health.Being overweight carries a high price tag. You are at greater risk for health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, sleep apnea and gall bladder disease.These are just some of the few potential health problems resulting from being overweight.
