Benjamin Button Economics

For those of you that have forgotten or don't know, Benjamin Button was the main character in the critically acclaimed, academy awarding winning movie, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." It starred Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchet and dealt with the story of a child born old who progressively became younger with time. The movie was base on a short story by F. Scot Fitzgerald with the same title.
This past week the President of the United States Barack Obama presented us with what can only be considered the concept of Benjamin Button economics where all we have to do is to go back to a time when the US was more dependent on doing menial tasks. According to the President
