[WATCH]: College Station Schools Adopt Standing Desks

First improving lunch meal nutrition, now having kids stand at their desks instead of sit. It's all to prevent childhood obesity and help them focus. A classroom of first graders standing quietly while doing their work—just another day in this College Hills Elementary class. "It makes me feel like I'm taller and I can work by myself," said first grader Jiana Serna. This non-traditional approach is an ongoing study. The Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health's "Dynamic Classrooms Project" looks at how standing while working improves students' engagement, focus, academics and physical health.
