Ignoring Childhood Obesity is a Parental Error in Judgment
Many parents of obese children don't see them that way. They either ignore the issue or take it on a personal level. The reason for this is that many obese children have parents that are obese themselves. This would lead you to believe that there is a serious family nutritional imbalance not to mention a serious denial problem. This is bothersome because obese children run the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol issues and other problems which are generally adult health concerns. Often parents will conclude that their children will grow out of it or it is just baby fat. This is not the case because childhood obesity is growing to be a national health risk inching ever so close to cancer. It is our parental duty to be
