How to Avoid Obesity

According to studies and to the media, more people are obese today than ever before. Childhood obesity is becoming much more common as well, as this is leading to problems in young people which were previously thought only to belong to those who were much older.

This includes problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure, which were almost never diagnosed in children until recently. Until the childhood obesity numbers come down, the numbers for these problems will continue to go up. Childhood obesity is not the only concern, however, as people who are thin as children but become obese later in life are also becoming more prominent.
