It might not be an abnormal occurence for children to snore, since about 12 percent of them snore from one year to nine years. But, if your child is snoring, do not take it for granted, you should take that child for medical examination to actually determine the cause of snoring as to certify the safe health of the child.
If your child snores consistently, ti might br a result of OSAS known as sleep apnea syndrome. In this case, the child's snore might be very loud and he or she is usually restless through the night becuase of the uncomfortable breathing conditions. This will lead to the child waking up several times at night, and each time he or she returns to sleep, the loud snore continues immediately. This is not a usual occurrence
