Articles from the Neurology journal reveal that weight loss surgeries have benefited morbidly obese patients who happen to have a history of migraines. Results from a small study made on morbidly obese individuals show that after undergoing surgery, patients were seen to have shed off more than 60 pounds on the average - only in a span of 6 months. This good news is compounded by very surprising (but welcome) findings that patients experienced fewer migraines after the surgery.
