From Boston - Long term NSAID use may be associated with raised risk of kidney cancer, according to a report published in the Archives of Internal Medicine. Studying over 125000 adults, researchers found that use of NSAIDs for 10 or more years resulted in a 3x increase in relative risk of developing renal cell cancer--the most common type of kidney cancer. From Manitoba - A new report published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal finds that a significant amount of Canadians have metabolic syndrome. Researchers studied national health data covering 96% of the Canadian population.
