Obesity Kills 8000 People Everyday

Two-thirds of Americans are either overweight or obese. In the United States alone, there has been a dramatic increase in cases of obesity for the past 20 years. In 2010, the incidence rate of obesity for all states was more than 20%. Thirty six states had 25% incidence rate, while twelve of those states reflect greater than 30%. Back in 2001, no state had 30% obesity incidence rate.
A statistics shows that the number of obese people has become at par with the number of hungry people worldwide. The number of underweight is equal the number of overweight people around the globe. Worse, not only adults are affected by obesity, but children as well. In 2010, almost 43 million of children below five years were overweight.
