[WATCH]: Just because your refrigerator looks clean, doesn't mean it is clean

It keeps the food fresh that keeps your family healthy, but is your refrigerator actually making you sick? It may be filled with bacteria that can result in foodborne illness. Leftovers and spills...just a few examples a registered dietician pointed out to us earlier this week to keep your fridge healthy too. Equipped with a black light, it's not hard for Sara Krieger, a registered dietician, to find bacteria. She found some on the rack that wasn't touching food, but you may touch it with your hands. Your refrigerator slows the growth of bacteria, but without proper care, it may be making you sick. The biggest threat? The wrong temperature. "Between 33 and 39 is perfect, when it's above 40, that's when bacteria starts to multiply
