[WATCH]: Obesity and mortality - Morbid obesity reduces lifespan by 8-10 years

This is compared to those with a BMI of 22.5 to 25. Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com This is equal to someone 5-feet tall weighing roughly 200-250 lbs... Or someone 6-feet tall weighing roughly 295-370 lbs. This reduction in life expectancy is roughly equal to the 10-year reduction in life expectancy seen in one study of life-long smokers among male British doctors. This according to a study by Epidemiologist Dr. Gary Whitlock of Oxford University published on-line in The Lancet on March 18, 2009. The study analyzed data from 57 long-term studies
