Congress last fall let plain cheese pizza be classified as a vegetable because apparently millions of dollars in lobbying cash makes one eighth of a cup of tomato paste equal in nutritional value to a half cup of broccoli. But Representative Jared Polis is fighting back with a campaign to prevent pizza from being counted as a vegetable in school meals.
