Today on MD-VOD, Dr. John Kennedy is joined by sports medicine and rehab specialist Dr. Ramin Hazany to learn about sports related injuries. Together they examine the cause of sports related injuries, who is at risk, the symptoms, how it's diagnosed and available medications, treatments and therapies. They further discuss the consequences and the realities of living with sports related injuries, including insurance coverage and related costs. In the US about 30 million children and teens participate in some form of organized sports, leading to more than 3.5 million injuries each year.
