[WATCH]: Toward A Cancer-Free World: How Does Exercise Prevent Cancer?
David Goldberg, MD, explains that exercise can reduce one's cancer risk by helping maintain balance in the body. "What you take in in calories versus what you burn makes a difference in how we look and what we wear, but it also makes a difference in the possibility of cells going wrong while they're dividing ." Aerobic exercise like running, walking, swimming and biking is better than weightlifting for the purpose of reducing cancer risk.
