Meet the Worms Presents: Blackstone Elementary Field-trip to Siena Farms (Fall 2011) On November 9, 2011, the pilot program of Meet the Worms! took students from Blackstone Elementary in Boston's South End to Sudbury's Siena Farms. The students got to experience farm life, including pigs, chicks, cows, and vegetation including potatoes and other plant life. Program manager Elle Jarvis and Farmer Trevor Seick from Siena Farms brought over 80 students from Boston out to the suburb of Sudbury 30 miles west of the city. Meet the Worms! works in collaboration with Media Consultant, Myles David Jewell of Pennington Productions. Myles has donated digital camera's and is conducting a media literacy workshop as part of the Meet the Worms!
