According to the WHO nearly 80 million adults in the US have some sort of cardiovascular disorder, 20 million people have diabetes and 70 percent are overweight while 30 percent are obese. These statistics are a cause for alarm if Americans are interested in living a comfortable life as they grow older. Unhealthy choices and disease and illnesses are major factors in reducing the life span of an individual. However, with the right knowledge and attitude most of these diseases can be avoided.
