Despite the endless debates surrounding health care in America the fact still remains that the health care system in the United States is the most expensive in the world. Our citizenry pays far more per person for health care than any other nation on the planet. Sadly however, in comparison to all other developed countries, the U.S. ranks dead last in terms of the quality of health care according to a 2008 Commonwealth Fund Report. No doubt the health care debate will continue to be a source of turmoil and bad blood into the distant future and in this writer's opinion, a colossal waste of time.
