[WATCH]: Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass: Pre-surgery Information

I am starting a video journal of my whole gastric bypass surgery journey. I talk about the 3 different types of surgeries: Lap-Band, Sleeve, and the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass. The cost without insurance is 18-35k. Depending on your doctor you may have requirements before even being allowed to go in for surgery: -Psychiatric Evaluation -Bariatric Group Meetings (1-2) -Visit(s) with a Bariatric Dietitian (1-2) -Lose weight if you can. They want you to have a BMI of less that 50 if possible. Pre-surgery diet: You will probably be put on a 10-Day Diet. This will be a liquid diet most likely. I am on the Bariatric Advantage one.
