[WATCH]: Fitness For America Sports Festival 2011
The third annual Alexian Brothers Fitness For America Sports Festival (FFASF) took place from Friday, July 22, to Sunday, July 24, in Hoffman Estates. This was a full weekend of running and skating events for all fitness levels, and attracted a unique spectrum of participants, from recreational athletes to reigning Olympic gold medalists from 35 states and five countries. This year, the Village and the Hoffman Estates Park District partnered with the Alexian Brothers Health System (ABHS) in their effort to eliminate childhood obesity.
