Obesity is a growing problem in the literal sense of the term! Almost two-third of America is growing in waist circumference and body fat, according to statistics. Obesity prevalence statistics reveal that more than 66% of the adult population in the US are overweight or obese. For underage people, more than 33% have BMI scores over 30. Now to understand obesity better, you must have a clear idea about what is a BMI score. Body mass index (BMI) Body mass index (BMI) is a good indication of whether or not you're obese. It is calculated by dividing body weight in kilograms by height in meter squared. So if your weight is 75 kg and height 1.72 meters, your BMI score will be 25.35, which is a tad above 25.
