Britain Tips the Scale when it comes to obesity

Statistics have revealed that one quarter of people in the United Kingdom now fall into the category of being obese. In fact, the United Kingdom is now the fattest nation in the European Union just in front of Ireland, Malta, Iceland and Luxembourg.
The study also indicates that although the average life expectancy in the United Kingdom is higher than some of our European counterparts, the United Kingdom has fallen behind the European Crowd when it comes to the number of years which the average person spends in good health
Although this study is unlikely to come as a surprise to Government officials and health experts in the United Kingdom, it is likely to ignite yet another debate as to how this growing health crisis
