[WATCH]: My First Project
Globalization is a term, coined by famed journalist, Thomas Freidman, which describes the incredibly fast-paced world we live in. Globalization has made life much faster and much more convenient for producers and consumers to access and change the world through communication, technology, finance, and other cultures, causing a ripple effect from every country. The country causing the biggest effect is America, which has spread its culture all over the world. One of the biggest aspects of American culture that has influenced the world is the fast food industry, more specifically, McDonalds. Thomas Friedman describes the effects of McDonalds in his book, The Lexus and the Olive Tree, through the Golden Arches Theory of Conflict
