There are four causes to all states of imbalance: trauma, toxins, deficiency and stress. Obesity is a "state of imbalance," true? So, can injury, toxicity and deficiency make you fat? Can stress make you fat? The answer is "yes!"
Mechanics of obesityTrauma or injury can cause obesity. That true because trauma or injury triggers "fight or flight" in most people and "learned helplessness" in others. ("Learned helplessness" is a passive reaction to situations we can't control, or think we can't.) These are stress responses. You respond to stress through the process of inflammation. Inflammation can cause obesity, and obesity (the unhealthy accumulation of body fat) causes more inflammation.
