Many families are changing their diets because of the rising prices of groceries and this is most disturbing, particularly for the poor families. What we eat is changing fast, and for too many people, it is changing for the worse. 8% of Americans surveyed say that they sometimes, rarely or never had enough to eat on a daily basis. For the middle class, the situation may be a little better, but the rising prices of groceries and gasoline is becoming a real concern. It is a painful experience at the cash register at your local grocery store. For most people, it is also a painful experience as they approach the gas pump.
